Cancelled my Domain with wordpress.com but want it back

  I cancelled my domain with WordPress.com because I wanted to use it on WordPress.org. The domain name is “footiebros.com”. The domain name can no longer be registered on any other hosting site or with WordPress.com. How can I get the domain name back?
