  i’ve created a website using wordpress that was cancelled last year. how can i get it back?

  We have no history of sites, purchases, transactions, or billing activity of any kind under the account you’re currently logged into.

  Specifically what was the URL of the site you’re trying to recover?

  We have no history of that domain ever being hosted with WordPress.com, so it was a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.

  Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.   The site was also no using our backup product https://jetpack.com/upgrade/backup/ so we cannot directly assist with this.

  Your best option would be to contact your former hosting provider to ask if they still have a backup of your account with them.
