Cancelled Plan in error!!
-
I think I inadvertantly cancelled my plan rather than just my blog! How do I get my package reinstated as it has almost 9 months to run??
-
Oh no! You deleted a blog with upgrades https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/#deleting%C2%A0a-site-with-upgrades, instead of transferring the upgrade to another blog.
Which plan did you have?
What was the domain URL?I will type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for a Staff follow-up. How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question? https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-help-in-the-forums/#how-do-i-get-a-moderatorstaff-reply-for-my-question Please subscribe to this thread so you are notified when they respond and be patient while waiting. Hi Time thief
Many thanks for your help. I had a WordPress Premium package which cost £85 and was renewed in Feb 2016. I bought it to run a blog which never hot off the ground, but decided this week to use it for my website instead. However by cancelling the blog I obviously cancelled the whole package and now have no access to any help from WordPress. My blog was called bloomafterbreastcancer, I’m not sure of the URL as all details now gone on my site! The cancellation email must have gone to an old email account which I got rid of sometime ago. It’s a nightmare!
I just need to be able to discuss it all with a member of staff but I have no contact information. If you are able to get someone to look at my account and contact me I would be very grateful. Otherwise I will close the whole thing down. Many thanks AC

I can undo the plan cancellation for you, but I don’t see any other site in your account to which I can restore the Plan.
If you already have a site where you want to use that upgrade, can you please provide me the full URL of that site?
It won’t be possible to restore the site you deleted, so the only way to restore the plan would be to move it to a different site.

Hi Kokkieh
I haven’t purchased a new site yet as it wants me to pay another £85 to set it up.
Is this the only way to get to talk to staff? Will they then credit back the remainder of my money from the cancelled plan?
I don’t want to end up paying out twice!!
Many thanks for your help.

You don’t need to pay to set up a new site. You can create an unlimited number of free site in your account via this link:
https://wordpress.com/start/site/On the page where you select a plan, simply select the free plan, and pick a free domain instead of a custom one.
Will they then credit back the remainder of my money from the cancelled plan?
We offer full refunds on all plans for 30 days after purchase, but we don’t offer pro-rated refunds if you choose to cancel a plan before it expires. Your plan was over 4 months old when you cancelled it, so isn’t eligible for a refund.
But as I’ve also already said, I can restore the plan for you without you having to pay again. But I can only do so if there is a site I can restore the plan to.

I understand Kokkieh. Thanks for your patience!
I’ve just set up a free site: aliart2016.wordpress.com
Let me know if there is anything else you need.

Thanks. I have restored your Premium Plan to the new site.
At the moment it won’t renew automatically, but if you want to activate that you can do so from the Purchases page.
https://wordpress.com/purchases/Click on the plan on that page, and select the Edit Payment Options tab to add payment details that will then be used for automatic renewal when your plan expires in March next year. If you activate automatic renewal the renewal will be processed a month before the upgrade expires.

Thank you so much for your help Kokkieh. Very much appreciate your time, patience and clear instructions :0) Very best wishes, Ali
