Cancelled Premium theme weeks ago but Credit Card charged anyway

  Hi there

  Please help. I did a one month free Premium trial and cancelled this before the month was up so I didnt get charged as I have moved my site to wordpress.org and dont use this site now anyway.
  I just see I have been charged USD$99 anyway about a week ago. Im very annoyed by this and it looks to me like I can’t get a refund through ‘my upgrades’ but instead just stop it from being charged in a years time. I keep trying to cancel but nothing is happening.
  Please can I be refunded this money as soon as possible please and my credit card details be taken off the site so it wont autorenew?
  I have also asked my bank to follow up with wordpress on this payment.

  Hi there,
  It sounds like you failed to disable autorenew.

  WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers.

  The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours. https://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/#canceling-upgrades

  Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.

  Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrade, and you are within the allowed time frame for refunds, you can cancel and request a refund from your dashboard > Store > My Upgrades.   Hi there, thanks for your quick response.

  That’s weird because I cancelled the free trial so to me that should mean I’m not charged whether I disable auto-renew or not?
  I have now done this for the future.
  I have gone into my upgrades but it doesn’t make it clear if I have just cancelled it or if I will infact get the refund.
  Staff assistance would very much be appreciated for this thank you.

  I there! It looks like that purchase has already been cancelled and refunded. It normally takes around a week for a refund to appear on your bank statement.

  Please let me know if there is anything else I can help with!
