Cancelled Professional Email

Hi I cancelled my recurring professional email mailbox but I can still send to it. I’m curious as to how to stop this as I will get messages from people who do not know that I have no access to my e-mail. Please let me know the available steps I can take

Hello there,
Once an email subscription is cancelled, the mailbox should also be deleted:
If an email is sent, they would get a bounce back from that address saying the email has not been sent.

Hi there thanks for the response I appreciate it but I decided to test my old mail account with my gmail account and I didn’t get a bounceback post deletion. Any thoughts?

Can you advise what email address you’re sending to? If you enter it on its own line…

Hi there,
I have confirmed with our email team that your account has been closed. There may be a lag of 24 hours or so since your domain is technically still in the process of being canceled.
There is no way to prevent messages from appearing to have been sent in this case, though I can confirm there is no active email account to receive these messages. Again this should clear up soon, but there can be a lag anytime a domain is canceled and there is nothing we can do on our end to get around that.
