  Hi please I recently deleted my site on wordpress. The domain name i was using was also purchased on wordpress. Can i still make use of the domain name?

  What is the exact URL starting with http:// of the site you refer to please?

  And, exactly which username account registered that site?

  I’m asking because we cannot accurately answer questions posted here until we have confirmed the URL referred to and verified the hosting. And, that is why we are all prompted to provide the relevant URL when we create a new thread.

  Oh, I think I know what happened. You deleted the underlying .wordpress.COM blog URL prematurely. I typed modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for Staff help.   Yes it was originally a wordpress blog then I upgraded it to a site that doesn’t have the @wordpress.com extension. I deleted the site but before deleting it i was asked to cancel my upgrade, which I did. Does this mean I can no longer use the domain name? And I tried to go to the domains upgrade page, but it says I don’t have any domain registered with wordpress.
