Cancelled Subscription: Site Down
-
Hi there,
I was mistaken and thought that my site was not hosted with WordPress.com which made me cancel the subscription. Now my site is down and not accessible.
Is there anything I can do to get the site restored or can I get the most recent full backup of my site?
Thank you.

We can tag this post with modlook to have a staff member reinstate the plan, if it still has time on it. I’m adding that to call their attention to this issue.

Hi @loushapiro, if you add one of our plans to http://loushapiro.wordpress.com, such as the Personal Plan, and then let us know once you have, we can link your domain name back to your site for you.

Thanks for the response @thesacredpath. Is there a chance that I can get the Personal Plan temporarily just so I could access the site and have it migrated then cancel the plan and get a refund for it? Thank you.

Hi @thesacredpath. I have added the personal plan on my account. Kindly link back the previous site that was canceled.

Hi loushapiro,
I have restored the domain,
loushapiro.companyto your WordPress.com site. You may now update the name servers or transfer it to use it with another provider. The domain
loushapiro.comwhich was previously mapped to the plan and that’s pointing to WordPress.com’s name servers is registered with FastDomain. If you’d like to use that domain with another provider you may update the name servers at FastDomain. As for a refund, we do provide plan refunds for 30 days, however, the cost of the domain name ($26) cannot be refunded after 48 or if transferred out. WordPress.com has already paid for the domain on your behalf and it is valid for the full registration period even if transferred.
Let us know if you need anything else.
