Hi there!
Is this for the site jns-essentials.com? If so, you are no longer eligible for a full refund because new domain registrations must be canceled within 96 hours to receive a refund. You can learn more about our refund policy here:
https://wordpress.com/support/refunds/
Otherwise, you can request a refund of the Personal Plan from your purchases page since you are still within the 14-day refund window for yearly purchases.
I hope that helps! Let us know if you have any other questions.

hi,
i want a refund for the personal plan, not for the domain. But when i go to cancel the plan, i just see ”supress plan” and not ”cancel plan”.

Hey there,
That would be cancelling the plan, just to reassure you.
I can also help with cancelling that if need be also. For our information, would you be willing to explain why you’re deciding to cancel/refund?
If there’s something that you need help or advice with, I’d love to be able to help if I can.

Hi
I would be glad if you could cancel it for me please so that i’m sûre i don’t do any mistake. Will i get a confirmation for the refund?
I am cancelling because i don’t feel comfortable with it. Can’t make my website by myself…
Thanks
Julie

Hello Julie,
No problem – I can refund that for you. Do you also wish to delete the domain? Please bare in mind that when domains are cancelled, they can be difficult, sometimes impossible to retrieve.

I’m sorry to hear this – what are you looking to build? We can always put together a step by step guide for you?

Hi, thank you very much for your help. I prefer to keep the domain please.
I wanted to build a simple blog, i would love to get the step by step guide, it will help me to learn to use the free version.

Thanks for confirming.
Before I remove the Personal plan on your site I wanted to review a few changes this will lead to. Please confirm that this is OK before we proceed.
- Your site will use jyjanenailstylist.wordpress.com as it’s site address. The ability to use a custom address is included only in our plans.
- You site will show advertising to help cover our operating costs. Sites on the Personal Plan do not show these ads.
- You will lose priority support access. We can still help you here, but we prioritize site owners with an upgrade so you get a faster reply directly from staff.
It is possible to retain ownership of regenbogenland.blog under your account, even if we remove the Personal plan. The domain will still work fine, but it will not appear as the address of your site. Instead it will automatically redirect traffic to jyjanenailstylist.wordpress.com. This does mean if you wish to use regenbogenland.blog on your business cards or other marketing, that is just fine. You can re-add the plan at any time and that will allow you to set your site address to match, but if anyone visits regenbogenland.blog while it is without a plan, that traffic will not be lost. :)

Perfect. The good news is that we have a free self-guided course that will walk you through setting up your first site step by step: https://wordpress.com/learn/courses/create-your-site/
We also have a course that is specific to blogging, but it does not cover site set up as much. It’s focused more on how you (as a writer) can blog most effectively on your site and attract traffic from search engines: https://wordpress.com/learn/courses/intro-to-blogging/
Also you may wish to check out our recent webinar on how to create custom blog pages, which show a number of different ways to set up custom displays of blog posts. It’s a great way to get a quick overview of our free page editor tools:
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.

Hi
Thank you for the details, but i confirm that i want to cancel the plan and get a refund.
Thank you

Thanks for confirming. The standard cost of a .com domain is €19/yr so I have subtracted that cost, but refunded the remainder of your purchase. You can see a receipt confirming this refund here: https://wordpress.com/me/billing
You can expect to see the funds in your account, but it can take a billing cycle or two depending on your institution. I can confirm the refund was processed on our end, but you may also wish to contact your credit card company to confirm.

Let us know if you need further assistance. Thanks!
