cancelling, at least temporarily, the upgraded portion of WordPress subscription

Hi happiness engineers, I would like to cancel the upgraded portion of my WordPress subscription for the time being. How do I that? How will that affect the features of my blog? Thank you! Kari King

You should be able to cancel your upgrade at Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades. Follow the directions on this link to cancel http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/cancel-domain/

Can you let me know which portion of your upgrades would you like to cancel? Are you having specific problems with any of them? I’m afraid that temporarily canceling an upgrade is not possible. If you do cancel it, it is permanent. Let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks!

Thank you. Trying to cancel the $100 a year fee. I just need to know what exactly that cancels.

Hi!
Canceling the Premium bundle cancels the following upgrades:
- Custom Domain (kingscatchfire.com)
- Custom Design
- VideoPress
- No Ads
- Space Upgrade
The immediate effect you might notice after cancellation would be that the domain “kingscatchfire.com” will no longer work on your blog. Might I suggest that you keep the domain and just delete the remaining portion of the bundle. Further renewal of the domain will only cost $26 a year. Let me know if you’d like to proceed with that plan. Thank you!

I’ve gone ahead and canceled the Premium bundle and kept your domain upgrades intact. Please do note that the domain upgrades are under the “partialperfection” account and you would have to be logged into that account to make the renewals. Let me know if you need anything else. Best wishes!

Thank you so much! The partial perfection account is my son’s and I don’ t know his password and he can’t remember it either. Can you advise me about how to log in/change the password/switch it to my account so I can manage it?

You can ask your son to retrieve his password using our Lost Password form:
https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
Once he’s logged in, he can go back to this post and request to have the domain upgrades transferred to your account, which I’d be more than happy to facilitate.
