Cancelling Domain

    I am trying to cancel the domain so that I am not charged and on ‘purchases’ there doesn’t seem to be an option to cancel, only to upgrade. Where is the place I can cancel the account on the website?

    We need details please.
    1. What is the domain URL?
    2. What is the underlying .wordpress.com URL?
    3. Exactly which username account registered the underlying .wordpress.com blog and purchased the upgrade for it? Which upgrade was purchased?
    4. When was the upgrade purchased? When was the refund requested?

    Refunds have time limits. WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.

    Note: It takes 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.

    You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard, cancel any upgrades, claim a refund for any qualified upgrades, and disable auto-renew. Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades. You can also disable auto-renew there. http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/#canceling-upgrades

    Hi there,

    I don’t see any domains or any other upgrades in your account. If you own a domain it was bought using a different username, and you’ll need to be logged in as that username to cancel it.

    If you tell me the domain you are trying to cancel I might be able to give you some more information.
