Cancelling Domain

  Hi,
  I just cancelled my domain with wordpress to reset it and use another host.
  My question is how long is my domain parked with wordpress until I can purchase it on another host?

  Hi,

  newly created and canceled domains are usually released after 5 days after the cancelation.
  In general, it’s never a good idea to cancel a domain if you wish to keep using it, it’s better to transfer it or point it elsewhere.
  If you wish to use the domain before it’s released, let us know, we will send you a link to pay the registration fee and restore the domain to your account.

  Once you have paid, please reply here so we can restore your domain.

  Bear in mind that all new domains are locked for transfer for 60 days, however, you can still use it with another site by pointing the domain elsewhere. Here you will find detailed instructions:
