Cancelling domain leads to "internal error"
-
Hello WordPress.
I am having some trouble with a domain I’ve recently purchased, http://observatorio-das-desigualdade.com, which I wanted to cancel and apparently can’t because the following error appears:
“You cannot cancel this domain because of an internal error. Support has been notified.”
What happened is that I misspelled the domain. I actually wanted to register http://observatorio-das-desigualdades.com, and since it is still less than 48 hours since the purchase was made, I was hoping it would be possible to cancel the domain and gain a full refund so that I could then purchase the correctly spelled domain.
I would appreciate any help you could give me on this subject as soon as possible. Thank you!

Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrade, you ought to be able to request a refund from your dashboard > Store > My Upgrades and then purchase the correct URL.
WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers.

Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.I’ll tag this thread for a Staff foolow-up. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.
