Cancelling G Suite

  Hi, I have just cancelled the renewal of my domain. Will my G Suite email accounts be cancelled too? I don’t want them to renew and be charged for them but I can’t find where to cancel the subscription. Thanks

  Hello @worldinpanorama,

  Are you saying in addition to cancelling your domain renew, you also want to cancel your G Suite upgrade here at WordPress.com?

  I think that domain purchases are separate to G Suite upgrade. In simple words G Suite is not part of a domain purchase. You might have to cancel renewal for each of them separately.

  You should have been able to find your G Suite purchase in the same billing history where you found your domain which you have managed to cancel. Find your purchase history here:
  https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/

  If you fail to find a G Suite upgrade purchase in your billing history, it is possible you had purchased your G Suite upgrade from a different WordPress.com account or on a platform outside of WordPress.com. You will then need to log into the account(WordPress.com or other) that currently owns the G Suite subscription and cancel it.

  Noting I don’t see an active G Suite subscription.

  Did you intend to keep the domain for use elsewhere, though? You still had several months left on it, even if you don’t want to use it here. If you do want to use it, please let us know right away so we can get it back for you. Otherwise it goes through a redemption status before it’s released:

  Thanks. Not sure how my email is still working then? Checked in my purchases and the last G Suite purchase was Feb 2018. Sorry bit of a beginner when it comes to all this stuff.

  Don’t need the domain or the email accounts anymore. Just wanting to make sure I’m not charged again.

  No worries. We are happy to help!

  As my colleague mentioned there’s not an active G Sutie upgrade, or any other upgrade on the account. This means that there’s nothing to renew, and you should not be charged.
