Cancelling G Suite account
-
Dear
I have cancelled my G Suite account as explained in this previous thread: https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/moving-my-gsuite-account/. How do I know that I can manage my account directly through Google from now on? Does the transfer happen automatically or do you or I has to do something?
Thanks for a reply

Hi there, does this article help? https://wordpress.com/support/add-email/adding-google-workspace-to-your-site/#managing-google-workspace
I’ve also gone ahead and flagged your thread for Staff input. Thanks for your patience while they get back to you.

When you cancel the plan at WordPress.com, you should receive an email directly from Google asking if you want to continue with the subscription directly with them.
Also, if you cancel your G Suite with us, the management will be reverted to Google. Your email addresses will continue to work but you’ll manage them through Google, not WordPress.com.
I hope that clarifies things!

Thanks for your answer. I didn’t get any mail yet from Google though. But maybe – and I hope you can help me out here – maybe, it’s because I only cancelled the automatic renewal , the payment so to say. I now notice the bin-button, saying ‘delete G-suite’. off course, I am a bit anxious to push that button, as it is not my intention to delete my G suite. But could it be that that just is what I need to do to put the whole transfer into action, as you have described it?
Kind greetings and thanks for your reply
Xavier
