Cancelling my account

I have been trying to cancel my account with you now for a few weeks and everytime I do the system tells me there was an error. I have now been charged £49.98 for something that I don’t want and never use. I would be very grateful if you were able to issue a refund and cancel the account. Many thanks

In looking over your account, I’m not seeing any charges in that amount. Is this in connection to a different WordPress.com username? If so, please send us a message while signed in to that account and we will be happy to look into these charges.
As this involves your personal account information, I’ll encourage you to contact us instead at help@wordpress.com for us to look into this further. Details such as the date of the charge, the transaction ID, the last four digits of the card used and the domain of the website involved (as it doesn’t appear there are any charges connected to foodforlife40.wordpress.com) will help us as we track this down for you.
