Cancelling plan
-
Hi, our wordpress plan has just automatically renewed and we did not want to renew. The money came out of my account and I had no notice. The plan holder is no longer with us so can not log in. Please let me know how can we cancel the plan and obtain a refund? Thanks.

Hi there,
I would be happy to assist you in cancelling and refunding your purchase. However, the upgrade that was purchased is not associated with the account you contacted us from. To confirm ownership, post in this thread under the username/account that purchased the upgrade. Then, I can look into refunding the subscription purchase.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!

Hi,
Thanks so much for the reply.
Unfortunately we are unable to log in under the account that purchased the plan as that person is no longer with us. I believe the account was in the name of Alan Rolls. We unfortunately do not have access to that account!
However the money comes out of my personal bank account if that helps. I thought the plan had already been cancelled earlier last year until I received notification that the money had been taken out of my account.I hope you can help.
Many thanks. -
Oh I see, in that case we’ll need to get a transaction ID as a proof of ownership. Because this is sensitive information, please do not post it here on the public forum. Instead, send us a message to passwordhelp[at]wordpress.com and our account recovery team will help you regain access to the account.
Here’s how to find the transaction ID:

Thanks for this. I have done as you suggested and sent an email last week to that address with the transaction ID but have not had any response.
I would really like to sort this out urgently as I want to get a refund – I do not want it to go past the allowed time for receiving a refund.
What should I do next?
Thank you. -
It doesn’t look like your email has reached us but don’t worry, I have just sent you one. Please reply there and we’ll keep in touch via email :)
