Cancelling private registration

I am trying to cancel the private registration of my domain tavernofterror.com as I intend to move it to a new registrar before it expires on July 19th 2013. I have gone to “my upgrades” and clicked on “cancel private registration” numerous times, but it keeps telling me there is an error and to contact support… so here I am!
I also would like a refund for the $26 pending charges for renewal. I did not authorize these charges, my domain will not be expiring for another month anyway, and I had not intended to renew.

I’ve cancelled the Private Registration upgrade on your account — that should allow you to begin the process of transferring your domain to a new registrar. Please let me know if you have any problems with it.
It looks as though the $26 charge for the auto-renewal did not actually go through — the transaction was authorized successfully, but was voided before any money was removed from your account. So you should see any pending charges disappear from your statement, usually within a week. Let us know if that’s not the case, though, and we’ll take another look!
