  If you were unable to follow the instructions provided in the link above you can always add the word modlook to the tag box on the right to get a response from a member of staff.
  PS: There seem to be a number of authors on that WordPress.com site. Only the owner of the site will be able to delete it.

  The question is for a different site I had, that’s why I’m hoping to get direct help from WP tech support.

  Thanks for the response, much appreciated. I cancelled the URL of the site I’d like to cancel with my hosting company, I can’t access the account anymore and that’s where I’m having trouble taking care of this on my end.

  What I can do is forward the most recent WP site update email I was sent to your tech support so you’ll have the email address associated with the account. I replied to it saying I’d like to cancel the site, but I’m not sure if that got that process going. What’s the best WP tech support email address to finish this up with?
