Cancelling Subscription

Hi,
I upgraded to a basic account subscription and realised that would not let me have plug-ins – so in a panic to cancel it I opened a case in paypal as I had paid with paypal. THEN I saw there was a 30 day cooling off period so I cancelled the case in paypal but now I cannot see the payment in wordpress to cancel it as it says there was a chargeback through paypal. This is not the case I closed the case in paypal stating it had been sorted out. All I want to do is cancel my subscription. This all occured on the same day of signing up please help!

I’m going to tag this thread for staff to take a look. In the future, you can do this by adding “modlook” to the text box for tags to the right of this thread.
In the meantime, just FYI, plan registration can be refunded for up to 30 days after purchase, read more on refunds here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/refunds/

Not a problem! The chargeback has been closed successfully, so I have canceled your subscription for WordPress.com Personal and refunded the charges back to you. It can take between 7-10 business days for the refund to reflect on your bank statement.
