Cancelling subscription and refund

    Hello,

    I haven’t ever completed or used my wordpress page because the theme I tried to work with wouldn’t work properly for me.

    I’ve just been charged £54 I didn’t realise I’d need to pay and cannot afford to pay.

    How do I cancel my account and get a refund please?

    Hi Tasha,

    There are no charges listed on the account you are contacting us from, which suggests you may have another account.

    Please try logging out of WordPress.com, then log back in using the email address your purchase receipt was sent to. If you reply here from that account afterwards, that should help me see what you were charged for.

    If you didn’t receive an email receipt, please enter the payment details into the “Why was I charged?” form:

    The Contact Support » link (on the right) can be used to contact our payments team directly if you don’t recognise the charge or would like to request a refund — please don’t share any transaction IDs or card details on these forums though :)

    Hi,

    Thanks so much for getting back to me. I’ve logged out and logged back in with the correct account. Sorry, you can tell I don’t use these!

    No worries. We sent a refund of £54.65 today, 2019-04-24. Those funds should reach you in about ten days. Do not cancel or delete this account until you confirm that the refund has been successful.
