cancelling then restarting an import

I’m having a problem importing my tumblr to my site. I tried cancelling and restarting, but WordPress acted as if the original import operation was still in affect and told me I could only have one import action at a time. What can I do to fix this? (also, this is after both clearing my account and disconnecting/reconnecting my tumblr)

@jakobewolf, I’ve double checked to confirm your import is indeed still running. It didn’t cancel.
We’re processing quite a few imports from Tumblr at the moment, which is causing a backlog of imports in our system. While it may look like your import failed, it’s just in line for processing, and luckily it’s still in the queue. Please allow this to run for the next 24 hours, and if it hasn’t completed by then, update us here.

Thank you for letting me know of this. It was frustrating to not have answers, but now I feel much better knowing that it’s not just me.
