If I were to cancel my WordPress Premium account after a few months of using it, would I be charged the annual fee or only for the months that I used it? Thank you :)

    Hi there
I am sorry to say that after 30 days, you do not get a refund. In:
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/refunds/
    it tells us

Purchases made on WordPress.com can be canceled and refunded during the refund period:
Plans and other purchases can be canceled within 30 days of purchasing

    regretfully,

Thank you very much for your help Dave, I was afraid that was the answer after my research also. Just to clarify, there is no way of having a monthly subscription?

    Best wishes,
    Puneet

    You are welcome Puneet.
It appears that i am the designated bearer of bad news. In:
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/auto-renewal/
    it tells us

Your WordPress.com plans and any domains you add to your sites are based on a yearly subscription that renews automatically.

so no, there is no monthly option.

Since you have already paid for the annual subscription, what you could do is go to your Manage Purchases and cancel the automattic renewals.

That means you get to use the upgrades you paid for until they run out, but will not be charged for a renewal for the next year. If you change your mind, you can always change the renewal option later on!
