I was erroneously charged $50 for an account that I cancelled over a year ago. it looks like the automatic billing was not deactivated. I went ahead and cancelled online, but could you please confirm my $50 refund which should be credited to my Amex.Thanks,

Which upgrade, which site URL and which username account is this about, please?
How many username accounts and sites do you have? Maybe you failed to cancel one and disable auto renew.

It’s important to know that each charge is sent to the registered email address for each username account, so if you have more than one username account that could be confusing you. Also, if you have a wordpress.org account and a wordpress.com account that could be confusing you.

It looks like you already cancelled that upgrade yourself, and we’ve issued the refund. You can see a receipt for the refund here:

You should receive the refund in about 10 business days, but that depends on your bank.
