Cannot access admin wordpress after update

    This error has come up after the latest update. Wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to fix this, please. My website runs fine, just can’t access my admin page

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare retrieve_password() (previously declared in /home/nubfsqiasz8s/public_html/wp-login.php:357) in /home/nubfsqiasz8s/public_html/wp-includes/user.php on line 2671

    Hi there,

    This seems to be a common problem when you are hosting your own WordPress.com installation. This forum thread seems to imply there is a way to resolve that issue if you know your way around FTP.

    Going forward. you will need to ask for help on the WordPress.org forum since this forum you are posting on is intended for free sites hosted with WordPress.com.
