Cannot access all of the view data for every post.

Hello there,
I need to access the statistics for the views of every post and page of all time (6,500 total posts). However, when I go to Stats->Traffic->Posts and Pages, it only shows the view data for 490
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I’m not sure I understood your question. What is the URL of the stats page you are viewing so we can take a closer look on our end? To further clarify you are referring to the number of stats you are seeing on that page? Or do you mean you are downloading the CSV file and see only that number of lines in the spreadsheet.
Given the number of posts you have on your site there may be a limit to how much data we can show on our end, but I will check with our engineers once I understand better. Thanks for clarifying!

Thanks for your response,
When we go to All-Time statistics for any given time in the “Posts and Pages” section, we expected that all of the posts and pages published on the site would be displayed on both the CSV and the website itself. However, we can only see ~490 total posts and pages for any given time period, even though there are ~6,500 total posts and pages on the website.
Is it possible to find a way to download a CSV that contains all views for every single article posted all-time on any specific date?
Here is an example link for your reference: https://wordpress.com/stats/day/posts/pharmaceuticalintelligence.com?startDate=2021-06-23&summarize=1&num=-1
In this, you can see that not all of the total posts for our website are listed here, rather it only shows ~490 posts. If you could let us know why that is happening and if there is a solution, that’d be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for clarifying! The stats displays do have a limit to the number of posts and pages that will display in a list – around 500 entries – so you’re only going to see the top posts/pages in that list starting with the most views and not the full, comprehensive list.
If you need a comprehensive list of all time stats, you would need to experiment with daily, weekly, or monthly post stats data to see which one captures the data you need, then at the bottom of the page, you can download a CSV file of the stats that you’re currently looking at that you could use to develop a master view in a spreadsheet or other application that reads CSV data.
I hope that helps!

Thank you for the help!
I still have some more doubts about what we can view on the stats page. So from my understanding, each stats page (for day, month, year) has a limit of ~500 posts & pages. Does this mean that there is no possible way to access the all-time views data for all 6,500 articles at any given date? If so, has this always been the case, or was this introduced in a recent update in WordPress.
Thank you again for the help!

That’s correct and that’s how it always has been; this isn’t a new limitation. Stats data isn’t developed in WordPress itself – this is a feature we made specifically for sites hosted here at WordPress.com as a way for site owners to see this type of site data.
However, it wasn’t designed for sites with huge data sets, so there are limitations of how that stats data is displayed. We still track all the data and the totals are accurate, just the display of that data is limited.
I hope that clarifies things.
