Cannot access anything on my site
-
I cannot seem to access anything on my site, no Reader information, no notifications, most upsetting, my drafts folder is now empty, and it says even my published posts are zero, although those show up. I have a paid site, and there is no way to access live chat. This has been going on all day!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @dorothygroverread I see you have a site on our Business Plan but when I visited it appeared to be loading correctly. We mostly help with free sites here in our forums (we offer specialized support for business customers) but the symptoms you describe sound like they might be related to the Jetpack connection on your site.
With this in mind I checked the connection quickly and it appears to be OK and functioning correctly. In the time since you have posted are you able to visit and see your site, reader, notifications, etc? Or are you continuing to have this issue?
Are you able to contact your business support via the form here or does that not load for you either?

If you are able, please try to contact us via the link above, which will route you to our live chat support where we can help you in realtime. That will be faster than waiting for replies here in the forums.
If that does not work let us know and we’ll do our best to help you here, thanks!

Thank you, I will try the link. I am still not able to do anything on my site or even see the notifications, etc., and when I look at my profile it is blank. I will report back after trying the link.

Well, It offered me a box to “ask away” and I did, and there was a box to click to “email” and when I clicked it, it said it was not allowed.
I got the message “We had trouble loading the support information for your account. Please check your internet connection and reload the page, or try again later.” My internet cable is fine.
Don’t know what to do!

Just to check, are you able to head to your site’s /wp-admin/ ? Let us know if you’re able to get in there (you may need to click an ‘authorize’ button to do so).
It should help refresh the connection between your site and your WordPress.com account; once you’ve done that, could you try checking your Posts section again to see if they come up?

Well, some progress I guess. I was able to click through and it landed on a dashboard where I saw some of my missing draft posts (which gave me some relief) and I was able to open one and apparently successfully publish it. However, I still could not access my notifications or Readers stream. Is there another thing I can fiddle with?

Great, I’m glad you’re able to access that.
Normally both your notifications and Reader should be working; it sounds like there may be something in your browser settings which may be blocking you from using those, and potentially other parts of your site management. Could we ask you to check if you have any kind of “cross-site tracking prevention” active? We do have some links to guides for that type of thing in different browsers here:

Good news! I seem to be working! I tried one more time logging out, shutting down the computer, clearing the history, and logging back in. It worked, so fingers crossed!
Thank you!
