Cannot access Dashboard.

  I cannot access my dashboard. When i enter the address {blogname}.wordpress.com/wp-admin i receive, a top blue bar reading: My Blog and Reader at the top and in the right column: Visit Blog, Post, Pages, Stats, Sharing, Change Theme and customize.

  I am tried everything and cannot get back to the Admin/Dashboard page.

  Mystified.

  Running Mac but never had issues before.

  Hi there,

  I’m so new with WordPress (I’ve got one in the past, but making a new one just yesterday) and I got the same problem as yours. I can’t do anything with my blog beside making a post and do a “small” edit with the header.

  My blog are so empty since I can’t add any menu, button, page, or any other thing. Even if I try to post (with picture), the picture is not showing in my blog, just a text saying “featured image missing”.

  I hope we can get some solution or at least explaination about this issue.

  Are you both certain that you are logged in with the correct account that has Admin privileges?

  Normally the blue admin bar is found only after signing in on the WordPress.com front page although there may be some testing going on that we forum volunteers aren’t aware of.

  For me, I’m pretty sure that I’m logged in with username/email that I used to sign up and get this account.

  But everytime I access, in my case : vedecicreative.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ It’s always take me to that top blue bar reading with “My Blog” and “Reader” instead.

  And strangely, I can only access vedecicreative.wordpress.com/wp-admin/themes.php that will bring me to “selecting theme” page. But when I click any menu other than “Themes” or “Header”, it’s straight take me back to the page with top blue bar “My Blog” and “Reader”.
