Cannot access dashboard ‘Recovery Mode not initialized’

  Hello. I have a Free Plan created WordPress.com website and cannot access my dashboard via the special ‘recovery mode’. I get a message ‘Recovery Mode not initialized’. I have followed the advice and cleared my cache/cookies and also tried using a different device to try and gain access to no avail.

  I do not have an external host looking after the website (just WordPress) and am not a web developer. I need to get someone from WordPress.com to contact me as to how to get into my website, so they or I can remove the WooCommerce (version 8.5.1) plugin, which has created the critical error which has caused the problem. I contacted WooCommerce, and they have advised me to contact my host (which is WordPress).

  I’ve checked it, and the site vincentpricelegacy.uk is connected via Jetpack to your WordPress.com account but not actually hosted on the WordPress.com servers. We can not help here with sites that are not hosted with us, as we have no access to your site, and our support tools will not work.
