cannot access ‘editing’ panel

  This has happened twice before and it was previously resolved by
  (a) shutting off firewall, then setting firewall to allow wordpress.com
  (b) clearing cache

  This time, neither is working.

  As of yesterday, when I go to create or edit a post or page, the edit window comes up, the editing toolbar displays very briefly and then the editing toolbar disappears. The text box remains, but I can’t access any of the icons, like to make a link, etc.

  So far I’ve

  -logged out and back in x 6
  -cleared cache and cookies x 3
  -restarted computer x 2
  -tried hitting the html vs visual button, etc
  -shut off firewall
  -checked to ensure firewall settings allow wordpress.com
  -searched forums
  -searched support

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Oh, dear. It sounds like it’s time to contact support directly. Copy and paste what you wrote here so they know what steps you’ve taken. Please let us know how this is resolved, if you have a moment.
