Cannot access email or website domain
-
Recently, I began setting up a mail server for the site to send automatic emails when somebody finalizes their orders with SMTP2GO. I got the mail server set up and decided on using Cloudflare’s infrastructure for web & email traffic to proxy everything (which was also the easiest way to verify the domain), but I was constantly having problems. Eventually, after fixing everything else, the IP addresses in the DNS records pointed to Cloudflare’s own nameserver addresses (within the prohibited IP ranges) and I was unable to figure out the origin server’s IP address (even using IP checkers). Because of this, I could not access the website nor the admin page: it threw error 1000 (because it was trying to talk to itself). We decided to remove Cloudflare from the picture since it was costing too much time and returned to Porkbun’s nameservers (whom is the domain’s registrar). After some time, it gave us a valid SSL certificate and instead of being an insecure connection, the site now reads “Parked on the bun!” saying the owner has yet to put up a site.
Note: I am the second administrator for this website, so I did not make any initial configurations or setups. The first guy, from what I know, made the business email through WordPress and the only way to login is via the login link. According to hunter.io, it cannot even receive emails, and I could not find a way around this. Also, I am using my personal account, which does not have a paid plan tied to it, so I am unable to get human support, and the AI bot cannot help me regarding information for another account. Does anybody know what to troubleshoot or where to go from here?

Hello there, @bearchocolate30020bc8a6 !
I checked your site and noticed that it’s not hosted on WordPress.com, as you can see here:
https://wordpress.com/site-profiler/imontour.net
What you’ll want to do now is ask your question on the WordPress.org community forums at this link:
https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/
That forum is perfect for sites like yours that use WordPress software but aren’t hosted with WordPress.com.
If you’re curious about the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, this guide explains it quite well:

Please let us know if you have any questions or need any extra help, and we’ll be happy to assist you.
