Cannot access login page or website

    I’m going through a redesign on my site. Two years ago I installed a themzilla theme, yesterday I deleted the theme in my WP admin, and tried to just switch it back to default. My admin login has said Themzilla instead of WP login since I bought the theme two years ago, and now that it’s been deleted it’s like my entire site is gone. I did a full back up which I have a .zip of right before I made the changes. I spent two hours with HostGator customer service, they were not able to help since it’s a ‘third party’ being themezilla, I’ve tried everything I can think of. I have access to my cPanel through Hostgator but that is it.

    If I try to go to my login page it is a blank white page, same as website: http://www.serialoptimist.com/admin/wp-admin/.php and http://serialoptimist.com/.

    There are over 2000 articles and 300 interviews and five years of work on here, and now I can’t access it and no one seems to be able to guide me in the right direction.

    Now I’m just trying to figure out how to do the restore, which I can’t through Hostgator which is my hosting. All I was trying to do was change my theme, and now I can’t even figure out how to login to my admin. I’ve had issues before but nothing like this that I couldn’t figure out. Starting to panic!

    Since you have a self hosted WordPress site you’ll want to post this question over in their forums. I’m not able to access the backend of your site or account to help you.
