cannot access my account

  Hello,

  I am trying to gain access to an account that I opened a couple years ago. It accepts my email and password, but then will not allow me access, instead giving me an instruction to request the administrator of the site – presumably me – for permission. I would like to repurpose my WordPress account; how do I get access to it, please?

  Hi Jack,

  You probably administered the blog under a different username.

  Have you tried filling out the Account Recovery form here?
