Cannot access my blog.

Hi Jeremy!! WordPress.org sucks!! They still have not responded to my post! There is no error as far as my hosting co. can see. He says my widget.php file is missing. Not sure what’s going on with my plugins but I cannot add any to my blog or update the ones I have. And some of my widgets are now gone and I can’t add them back because of the problem….this is getting irritating. I thought maybe I could change the theme, delete the one with the problem and download it again, thinking maybe something got deleted by accident…well that didn’t work…. Do you know how to help me fix this???

Keep in mind it was a holiday weekend and the people in that forum are 100% volunteers, meaning they just volunteer their time to help out others.

I do not. Since I don’t have access to your site files, I’m unable to assist here. I would suggest asking your host to backup your site content and then potentially doing a fresh install of WordPress.org. I’m sorry I couldn’t be of more help here.

As far as installing a new wordpress, will that work?Please do not post your login credentials for your self-hosted site or FTP credentials. I’m not 100% sure if installing WordPress.org again will work; it’s just my best guess! I’ll be closing this thread as it’s not related to WordPress.com. Please keep all further support requests regarding your self-hosted site to either the WordPress.org forums or with your site host.
