Cannot Access My Domain
-
I have owned my domain for two years and have never finished configuring it. I just fixed my login but when I try to access my domain it says it is already owned by someone else. I own beam-of-light.net. I know that for a fact because I came up with the name and I’ve been paying for it for a year.
No need to comment on why I am just trying to fix this now.

Your account 76torino is only 1 hour old so it cannot own a two years old site. As you have a paid plan, it’s very easy to restore access using the transaction ID at https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/

Thank you for the quikc response. I created that account to try to get to my domain since no other usernames or emails would work. I have paid 3 years for my domain at a cost of over $1200 with no access or use. I emailed WordPress last year and got no reply.
I put two of my last three transaction IDs in an attempt to recover my account. Neither worked and I got no information why the transaction IDs did not work. There is no proper description of what/where the transaction IDs are. I copied the numbers/letters from my Citibank statement but it did not work.

It looks like the basic problem is that the only part of my account that ever got set up was the domain creation and the payment. I have never been able to access it after purchasing the domain in September of 2020.

Hi there, https://beam-of-light.net/ belongs to a different WordPress.com account here, not the one you’re currently logged in to, so it looks like you have more than one account with us.
First, log out of WordPress.com at https://wordpress.com/me and log back in with the correct account.
If you do not recall the correct account, we have some options for you at https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/#account-recovery-form
Please let us know if you have any more questions!

And I apologize, I had “I put two of my last three transaction IDs in an attempt to recover my account. Neither worked.” humming in the back of my mind, but as I was investigating, it must have slipped out along the way.
You can find the Transaction ID by following the steps at https://wordpress.com/support/billing-history/#retrieve-a-transaction-id
If that still does not work, please send an email to passwordhelp@wordpress.com explaining the situation, and our recovery team will get this taken care of for you.
