cannot access my own blog

    This applies to some site visitors as well. At first I could not log into the site so I reset my password.

    I can now log in on the login site but I cannot access my dashboard or the blog itself. I cannot post anything there or answer questions.

    I get messages like.

    HTTP/1.1 400 Bad Request Server: nginx Date: Wed, 15 Jun 2011 19:41:41 GMT Content-Type: text/html Content-Length: 1245 Connection: close

    400 Bad Request
    It is not a valid request! Powered By LiteSpeed Web Server
    Lite Speed Technologies is not responsible for administration and contents of this web site!

    Where is support? No one is answering me!

    I see that others have posted on my site, because I get an email showing their comments, so I know they can access it. But I cannot get in there to do anything.

    Yes I have contacted support.

    No answer yet……It has been all day…..so I hope something soon.

    This all seemed to start after they added the facebook and twitter stuff on the log in for comments.

    But maybe I am wrong.

    Troubleshooting
    (1) Is you computer secure? This can be difficult for you to detect. Have you done a complete scan?
    (2) How stable is your Internet connection? How are you accessing the internet and WordPress.com?
    (3) Do you get the error using more than one browser?

    (4) Do you have third party cookies enabled?

    I am going through Mozilla Firefox for access.

    I just tried using Google Chrome and it worked!

    Maybe I have corrupt version of Mozilla.

    I am not sure about the other things you mentioned.

    I don’t know anything about cookies.

    Just that I eat them. :)

    Wow,… thanks…..I just went under tools, and cleared the cache and cookies….and now I can use Mozilla firefox also

    Thanks for the update re: using Firefox. It’s important to note that when you make adjustments to your browser settings — changing privacy settings, deleting cookies or increasing security — you will need to close your window and restart the browser before those new settings become effective. I have my Firefox 4.0 browser set up to automatically clear my browser cache and cookies when I log off the internet and close my browser.

    Sorry. :( Firefox 4.0 is slower than Firefox 3.6 whatever was. There’s nothing that I’m aware of that can increase the speed aside from not using numerous browser extensions and add-ons.
