Cannot access my website, password reset emails do not come in

  I have a blog on wordpress I have not used in a long time. I have the username and password. I tried to log in, but it is saying the account was blocked for security reasons and that I have to reset my password.

  I have not used the email address connected to the blog in over a year, and it turns out yahoo had deactivated it. I managed to log into yahoo again, but the inbox is wiped clean, I have no emails. I tried to get a password reset link through wordpress, but nothing comes in in my inbox – I assume it is a technical issue due to the email address having been deactivated.

  I tried to do the account recovery, but since the inbox was wiped, I have no confirmation email from when I joined the site, and I have no purchases, so there is no way for me to provide the proof of ownership they ask for. I have, however, my username, password, and access to the email address connected to the account. And I cannot get into my account. Any idea what to do? Thank you!

  Hey Adriana , have you checked the spam folder , and the other folders in your email.
