Cannot access my WordPress.com account – not receiving OTP email
-
Hello WordPress Support Team,
I am posting from my personal WordPress.com account because I am unable to access my primary WordPress.com account.
My domain gowfc.com is registered and managed with WordPress.com under another account that I cannot log into.
I am not receiving any OTP or password reset emails for that account, so I am unable to access it and renew my domain.
My website is self-hosted and not hosted on WordPress.com, but the domain registration is handled by WordPress.com.
I have a transaction ID for the domain: 100491487
Kindly help me recover access to the original account associated with gowfc.com or advise how I can renew the domain.
Thank you.

It is very stressful to have a domain at risk of expiring when you are locked out of the account managing it, but having your Transaction ID is the most important piece of evidence you could provide. Because the domain registration is a paid service, WordPress.com can use that payment record to verify your identity even if you no longer have access to the original email or the Two-Factor Authentication (OTP).To resolve this, you must use the Account Recovery Form specifically designed for users who cannot access their email or OTP. On this form, select the option that indicates you have a transaction ID. Enter the code when prompted; the billing team will cross-reference this with the credit card or PayPal account used for the original purchase. This is the only secure way for the staff to verify that you are the rightful owner of gowfc.com without compromising the security of the account.Once you submit that form, a member of the Account Recovery Team will contact you at the email address you provide in the form. They may ask for a few more details to confirm the billing identity. After they verify the match, they can help you update the account email address or provide a one-time access link so you can renew your domain immediately. Since domain renewals are time-sensitive, I recommend submitting that form as soon as possible to prevent the domain from entering a “redemption” phase where it becomes much more expensive to reclaim.

Thank you for the guidance.
I understand that the Account Recovery Form is the correct and secure way to proceed, and I do have a valid Transaction ID.
However, I am currently unable to submit the Account Recovery Form due to technical issues — the form is not allowing me to complete the submission properly.
This has left me with no remaining option to proceed through the standard recovery flow.
My domain gowfc.com is currently down / at risk due to expiration, and my website is affected, so this issue is very urgent for me.
Could you please take a serious look at this case and advise how I can proceed, or initiate the recovery process manually?

Thank you for your support.
