Cannot access my WordPress website
-
I created a site using WordPress (not the one that I am using now), but the person whose host/server I was on removed my site from his server. Now, when I try to log onto WordPress to access my old data it doesn’t recognise my log in details. When I ask it to send me a new password to my email nothing comes through. How do I access my site?
Thanks for your help

What was the address of your old blog? It should be something like:
xxxxxxx.wordpress.com
xxxxxxx is your name of the blog.

You need to make nice with either the person that removed you from their server – maybe they have a backup they will give you – or make nice with the old host – and maybe they have a backup they can give you – but they will need permission from the old admin. – If you get the old backup files there is still a problem transferring them into a WordPress install – you would probably need to put the files into a WordPress.ORG install before they can be transferred to WordPress.COM if you want to host here.
Failing in that there is searching for cache copies that are still indexed by the search engines.
