I am suddenly unable to access my posts – get message saying ‘unexpected error’. All of the other buttons seem to be working.

Can you confirm you’re referring to the site wallofcontroversy.wordpress.com? I accessed your account and had no issue displaying the posts page.
This could be a local issue, for example, a problem with the browser, so let’s start off by trying these two things:1. Clear your browser’s cache and cookies. You can find here more information on how to clear the cache depending on your browser:

Yes, the site is correct. Ok I have erased my cache and cockies. I have also disabled the extensions – don’t seem to find any add-ons. Nothing has changed so I can still access everything on my site except the posts
Furthermore, I have already tried it using two different browsers on this computer.

Whoops – that’s cookies obviously. I have also disabled plugins and tried again. Nothing is helping though.

We experienced a technical issue earlier on today with the posts and pages panel on WordPress.com – understandably, we deemed this quite a high priority fix, and have since solved this issue.
We’d recommend clearing the browser cache here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache if you’re not seeing this resolved.
We hope this clears things up, and thank you for your patience while we fixed that.
