Hi @mamukajibladze,
Looking at your account, you have no sites listed. Do you perhaps have another WordPress.com account (or Jetpack-connected site), and could you please share your site URL?
Please keep in mind, these forums are for sites hosted on WordPress.com managed hosting. If your site is hosted elsewhere, help is available in the WordPress.org forums or by contacting your hosting provider.

Sorry colleagues, I posted a question being sure it goes to the WP support
Had no idea it goes to the WP support forum and will be stripped of all linksIt is not my post, I was trying to access
which I found at
https://wordpress.com/read/feeds/5859835
and could not do it: all posts earlier than March 2020 were greyed out, and when I clicked them I received error message from my browser.
Right now I tried again and now there is no obstacle, but still the question remains why did it happen.

Hi there,
When you view a post in the Reader, the next time you visit it is “greyed out” to indicate that it’s a post you have seen already. When we launched this feature (2020 if I recall correctly) we automatically marked posts older than that as “viewed” so that is why you sometimes see grey posts, even if you are viewing it for the first time.
As for why it was not clickable, I am not sure. For me they work as expected. Did you happen to recall the text of the error message you saw?
If this behaviour happens again, please get a copy of that text (or a screenshot of your screen) which will help us as we take a closer look.
Thanks!

Hi there,
Thanks for the screen shot. As that error notes, that’s a connection error between your browser and our servers.
This type of error is often due to a caching issue, either in your browser itself, your computer our router’s DNS cache, or at your ISP. It can also appear if there’s a temporary drop in connectivity on your internet connection, an outage at your ISP or on our servers (but if it were with us you wouldn’t have been able to access the Reader or these forums either), or could even be because your ISP is blocking connections to our servers, either accidentally or deliberately. But we have no way to tell from our end which it was in this case, especially if it’s no longer happening.
As this resolved on its own, the most likely explanations is either a caching issue or a temporary drop in connectivity.
If something like this happens again, clear your browser cache and unplug your modem/router for a few seconds to reset its cache. If that doesn’t help, check using a different browser, device, and internet connection. If it works on a different internet connection that usually points to the problem being with your ISP, so you can contact them directly for help in that case.

Both in Firefox and Chrome, I simply cannot access named urls from wordpress:
for example, no matter what I try I cannot access
https://terrytao.wordpress.com/
I successfully access
https://wordpress.com/read/feeds/38022
which leads to the same site. But practically everywhere I encounter links to WordPress, they are of the first form, not of the second form, and to find out what is the second form corresponding to the first one I have to go to wordpress.com and search for terrytao there; and even after that, I have problems finding old (say, 2013) blogposts there. -
In fact I now checked, my system (windows 11) cannot resolve target system name terrytao.wordpress.com, although it successfully resolves wordpress.com (192.0.78.17). This means it is not browser problem, right?

Yeah, it doesn’t sound like a browser issue. Have you tried unplugging your modem/router for a few seconds, as @kokkih mentioned above? Trying a different internet connection could also help identify the issue. Thanks!

This did not help, but I found the reason – DNS server from ISP.
I changed it to 208.67.220.220, and the problem is gone. -
