Cannot access to my site because device is not connected to Internet

    Can you help to investigate this issue that I keep getting a message saying: “the device is not connect to internet” when I try to access to my blog site or preview a post/page. I tried different device but also got the same error.
    It’s strange because all these devices are connected to internet and I can log in to WordPress admin page (as you can see I’m writing this message on WordPress help page). However, whenever I go to my published site then I will get the error.

    Hi @phankhacngoc, are you seeing this error in an app or through a browser? If it’s in a browser, could you send a link to the exact page?

    I used web browsers (Safari and Chrome) on different devices (iPhone, iPad and MacBook). Here is the link: http://phankhacngoc.wordpress.com/

    That site is working fine for me.

    Are your different devices all using the same internet connection? If so, your connection is most likely the problem.

    See if using a different internet connection, or else a VPN or proxy, makes any difference.

    Interesting.
    It’s seemed like my page is blocked for my country (Vietnam). I asked a friend to access to the link and he couldn’t do it also. But when I use VPN to access the site from the US vpn for example, then it works.
    So weird!

    I wonder what is the reason? If it’s not the internet operator here blocked it then is there anything I can do to unblock it?

    It’s possible the government has blocked WordPress.com, which wouldn’t be the first time this has happened.

    Hi there,

    Looks like @raincoaster is right. WordPress.com is being blocked in Vietnam. Therefore you’ll need a VPN service to access your site. More information can be found here:

    Also, if you are comfortable doing so, we encourage you to reach out to your internet provider and/or government authority to complain about their blocking of WordPress.com.
