Cannot access WB admin.

Add topic to favorites
I cannot access the admin panel of my website, which is http://www.thesocialstudiers.com

I read online, and a lot of people recommended something along the lines of moving my plug in folder via FTP (or something), but I don’t host any of that on my computer!

I tried deactivating plug-ins from the first admin screen, but most say error.

My tech illiteracy level is 9 of 10. Please help!

It looks like you might be asking about a self hosted site and this forum is unable to help you. This forum is for questions regarding WordPress.com accounts and websites. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are different versions of WordPress, with different support forums.

It is not self hosted, that’s why none of the information I could find about FTP files was of any use to me.

Your site runs on WordPress, but is hosted by Bluehost, not WordPress.com. Therefore it is indeed a self-hosted site and mariahpierson gave you the right information.

We don’t have acess to self-hosted WordPress sites on the WordPress.com forum. If you are still having trouble restoring access, please go to https://wordpress.org/support/ for assistance or contact Bluehost directly.

I have a word press site I cannot access as none of my emails work and my maintenance guy will not respond. I don’t have documentation required on account recovery site. Does anybody have an idea how I can get access?
