after years of using wordpress and the few times i needed help i almost never get any and it appears many others are in the same dilemma. WTF? this forum seems rather useless and esp when it comes into areas that the staff at wordpress should deal with like access to the site and their site too.

I tried again here – but this is the last time – the support is zero and bullshit!

  • Hi there,

There has been no recent changes on WordPress.com that would cause security warnings on any browser, let alone a specific browser on a specific operating system. It is much more likely that a recent update to your browser has caused this.

Have you tried using another browser on your Linux system to see if you get the same problem? Also please make sure that your browser is updated to the latest version. Then you can also check if it makes any difference when you use a http vs a https connection when visiting WordPress.com.

Please also be aware that while we try to make WordPress.com compatible with as many browsers as possible, we cannot fully support every browser that exists, but have to focus on those that are most stable and with the biggest user base. For best results we recommend that you use either Firefox or Google Chrome.
