Cannot access WordPress login for my new domain name.

    I cannot access my wordpress login for my new domain name. I want to transfer the domain name to godaddy.com. I need an authorization code.

    The issue is that the WordPress.com user account that you are posting from is not the owner of that upgrade.

    Typically this happens because you ended up with a second WordPress.com user account at some point and THAT account is the one that was used to purchase the upgrade. You will need to log into that second account in order to transfer the domain.

    What is the URL of the domain in question?

    I cannot access the second wordpress site. It is blessingsandblowouts.com. Can you please help me gain access so that I can transfer the domain?

    Hi,

    I have already tried that, but I do not have the username, password or the following required items necessary to complete the recovery form.

    Transaction ID: A transaction ID is a unique alphanumeric code generated for your payment. If you purchased an upgrade on the blog in question — via PayPal, credit card, or another method — you can retrieve a transaction ID by logging in to your PayPal account or locating a past WordPress.com receipt sent to your email address.
    Activation URL: When you created your WordPress.com account, we sent an activation link to your email address that you were required to click. If the email you received included a confirmation button instead of a link, you can copy the activation URL by right-clicking on the button and selecting “Copy Link Address” (this text may be vary slightly depending on your browser).

    The only proof of ownership that I have is that my Instagram account is linked to the site.

    Can you please assist?

    @coachkellyfit2bx I’m really sorry, our team is not able us an instagram connection to prove ownership.

    But since there was a purchase, whoever paid for it can get the transaction ID. Here’s how to find that: https://en.support.wordpress.com/transaction-id/#if-you-dont-have-access-to-the-receipt

    Once you have that, try the form, and if that still doesn’t work update us here. We’ll reach out privately over email to get the transaction ID from you.
