Cannot access wordpress site

    The site is anarchitectsguide.com. It’s on the web, publicly visible, but I can’t access the wordpress back end. Looks like the wordpress fee may have lapsed (the domain registration has not, as far as I am aware), but I can’t seem to contact a human being at WordPress to make this right!

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Looks like the wordpress fee may have lapsed

    anarchitectsguide.com was mapped to architectsguide.wordpress.com but the owner (andrewpalmquist) cancelled the upgrades, removed you from the site and deleted it nine months ago.

    The domain is now pointing to a site using WordPress.org software and hosted by DomainPeople. Have you tried logging in from http://anarchitectsguide.com/wp-admin/?

    Your host will be the best people to contact if you are unable to login at all. The WordPress.org support forums will be the best place to post for advice on making general changes:

    Gemma, we seem to be in 2 parallel universes:) I contacted DomainPeople yesterday, in person. They confirmed the domain has been paid for until August of this year. They were very polite, said the site was now hosted by HostGator. I just chatted with a real person at HG, who politely advised they are NOT hosting my site and cannot help me. Going to http://anarchitectsguide.com/wp-admin/ gets me asked for my username or password….which do not work! So the site itself is live and works…I just can’t edit it.:( I believe all I need is a functioning username/password. How can I change those when neither my existing username and password are recognized by http://anarchitectsguide.com/wp-admin/? Thanks

    PS: Note that your log in credentials for that site may be different to the ones you are using to reach this WordPress.com account.
