cannot activate blog

When I go to my blog it says, “(url) has not been activated yet”. How do I activate this? (This account was created many years ago and I have never been able to use it due to this issue.)

I assume that when you set up the blog you didn’t click the activation link in the email you would have received. As the account was set up years ago i doubt very much that you still have that email? I will flag this for staff as i think you will need their help with this.

Yeah, I would guess the same thing. Unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be any way to resend the activation link and the original email, if I ever got one, is long gone. Thanks for flagging this.

Now that I’ve spent some time creating other blogs using my account it appears that the davevan blog might not even be associated with this account. It’s entered as this account’s “Web Address”, but I guess that was something I simply typed in. I may have created the davevan blog with a different account (back in 2006 or so) that I no longer know about. All I know for sure is that somehow back in ’06 or so this got messed up and I have never been able to use it. Either way it would be great if we could somehow get this working.

http://davevan.wordpress.com/ seems to be just fine and is under the control of your davevan account.
