Cannot activate my instagram widget

  Hi there!
  I’ve tried several times to activate my instagram widget on wordpress. While I am able to add the widget, it somehow does not authorize the app.
  – I have logged into my instagram account as required but the page goes into a black screen

  Please help!

  Make sure you are logged into Instagram when doing the widget set up.
  The Admin login link to the dashboard for every blog hosted by wordpress.COM is:

  http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

  * You will have to replace “name_of_blog” with your actual blog’s name in that URL.

  http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/widgets.php

  Navigate to > Dashboard > Appreance > Widgets

  * You will have to replace “name_of_blog” with your actual blog’s name in that URL.

  Is your Instagram account public? Or is is private, and therefore, blocked when it comes to display of images in the widget on your blog? And, are you logged in when authorizing it?

  This particular widget needs to be authorized using the WP admin widget page rather than the customizer. If you go to Dashboard > Appearance> Widgets from the WP Admin dashboard and authorize the widget from there, you’ll have much better luck.
