Cannot activate Vertigo theme

    Hello,

    The Vertigo (Free) theme cannot be activated –> In the theme overview page, when I press the ‘Activate this theme’ button, a dialog screen opens for 1 second and then closes. Then I’m back to the theme overview page.

    This issue does not occur with other Free themes from WordPress.

    Please help! What can I do to make it work?

    Hello,
    Vertigo is on the list of retired themes.

    A theme is retired when it no longer supports all of the features on WordPress.com. You can continue to use it on your existing blogs, but cannot activate it on a new blog (as you discovered). It’s generally recommended to switch your blog to a current theme.
