Cannot add categories

  Hi,

  I am trying to add more categories and after inserting the category name and click “Add Category”, my blog theme appears with a post that states “Not Found – Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here.”

  Any ideas?

  Categories will not appear in the category widget until at least one post is assigned to them. If you go to manage > categories, are the categories you created listed there? If yes, then they have been created.

  Thanks for your reply but this has not answered my question. To make it simpler…

  I go to Manage > Categories > Add new and I get redirected to the bottom of the page.

  I then enter the category name and click “Add Category”

  Exactly where the form is that I entered the category name, my blog theme appears with the statement “Not Found – Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here.”

  Weirdly it is not happening anymore but if it does occur again I wish to know what the issue is and how to resolve it…?

  I would suspect it was a temporary glitch. If it happens again, you can also add categories on the fly to the right of the text area in the write post page.
