Cannot add categories

(sorry bad english)
i used to add “existence” to my categories instead of searching them (too many categories to search)
but now its doesnt work anymore , i add existence categories , enter , and it just gone , adding “new” categories is normal -

“Existent” post categories would be all post categories, so it’s not clear what you mean. Where are you doing the search? If you enter “existent” in the categories search box of a post editor, the result will be either the category “existent,” if it exists, or “No results. Please try a different search.”

omg my english is so fucking bad
example :
i have “zealot” as my categories , but instead of searching it and add it to my post , i type it at my categories so i can save my time for scrolling downits should work until now , i used to do this like 3years , its just doesnt work anymore , i cant figure it out i tried to close all plugin but its same

its really annyoning since i have 2500+categories , no way i scrolling down everytime and it content korean and japanese really hard to identify , the “search box”or whatever we call it just doesnt work anymore , yeah i can add new categories , but old one “existent categories” i type and enter nothing happen

Are you referring to a WordPress.com site? If so, what is the address (URL) of the site? And where are you doing the category search that you’ve described? In the post editor of any WordPress.com site, a search for a specific existent category at Categories & Tags should present you with that category as the result of the search.

Correction:
You may add, edit, and delete categories at your WP Admin Categories page. If you have a WordPress.com site, then its WP Admin Categories page would be at the URL https://your website address/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=category. Replace “yourwebsite address” with the site address/URL. -
i guess u dont understand what i mean , i just tell you my step since my english so horrible , i know the categoris page i know i search box but that doesnt relate to my problem , my issue is “cannot add existance categories to post”
i used to be
create post > add categories (typing inside the box) > enter > categories added > successnow
create post > add categories (typing inside the box) > enter > nothing happen > the word i typed is gone (couldnt add existance categories anymore)not tying to make you confuse since you really couldnt understand what i mean , “add existance categories“ not working anymore “add new categories” is fine

In the post editor of any WordPress.com site, a search for a specific existent category at Categories & Tags should present you with that category as the result of the search.
Typing in an existent category, at post editor > Post Settings > Categories & Tags > Categories, is a type of search.
I don’t know why this procedure would not be working properly on your site anymore. Perhaps, the failure is due to a browser-related or other local issue. I’ve called for staff attention to the topic. Please wait for a staff member to respond.

Also, it looks like your site is actually an individual WordPress.org installation. Are you using wp-admin to post?

im using wp-admin , not sure what it mean but im using hostgator and then get wordpress as my website -
